Animal Welfare
Marshall is fully committed to the humane care and welfare of our animals. This is accomplished through compliance with all Federal and local regulations and enhanced with our internal standard operating procedures designed around animal health, safety and comfort. Daily human interaction, comprehensive socialization programs, species-specific environmental enrichment, and health programs supervised by staff veterinarians contribute to the well being of Marshall Animals.
The Animal Welfare Act regulates the treatment and welfare of large, non-rodent animals used in research in the United States. The Act was signed into law in 1966. For more information please visit the following sites;
